This boolean function simply reads in two files and compares them to see if they are the same. It returns true if they are and false if they aren't. I quickly wrote this up to compare text files against template files.

The program checks a file on a web-server with the most recent version number in it, compares it to your version and then either downloads the new file or not depending on which one is more current. This process utilizes the INET control for the file transfers.
