Administer a remote computer via LAN/WAN/Dial-Up. Code is complete with no bugs (that I'm aware of.) The server comes complete with an "options" form that can be accessed by right clicking the server icon in the system tray. This is a "spin-off" of my original Remote Admin program. There were several comments about a better GUI, so this is what I've come up with. The program is about 80% completed right now and I plan on adding more features. The "remote explorer" on the client can recognize over 80 different file types to add easy in viewing the remote computer's files. If you find any bugs, please alert me about it. If you'd like to see this program completed, show me some votes and comments. Thanks in advance, James
FORCE someone to register an app. This program checks for a .dll that is non-existing creating an error. On error the program continues loading depending on how many "uses" you provide with your software. Even if the .dll is deleted, the registry "runcount" will create it again and force the user to register. It's pretty much commented and what's not commented is common sense. Enjoy and PLEASE post feed-back.
I use winsock quite a bit with my programming. This was created to send encrypted information via the internet from client to server or server to client. The module picks a random number to encrypt each letter with and stores it in the information. (example L:23:E:3:T:34:) and then the numbers used are encrypted with it as well. Please let me know what you think of it and vote as well. Thannks in advance ~James Miller
ActiveX LED Scrolling Marquee example. I've included the images I used to create this. Very simple project for someone to learn from or compile and use on existing projects. Enjoy and let me know what you think about it.
After getting sick and tired of being sick and tired of looking for something that demonstrated this, I decided to make it myself. This lists all processes running. It also demonstrates how to 'stop processes' that are running. That's it. I've commented every line needed and I hope this helps someone. Enjoy!! James
